Mine

You will be mine, you will be mine
All mine

In another dream, another sweet time
Just me and some puppy eyes
Free birds with no ties

Silver hair and no golden ring
The softest dream a night can bring
Deep night, sticky fight

Bribing Gods for more delight
Chasing sleep to hear your voice
And for my heart to rejoice

From your eyes the blues beam
The lightest dark I’ve ever seen
Long fingers call my name

I shakily accept the game
You will be mine, you will be mine,
All mine

Once again under the moonshine
You will eat from my hand
With our feet warm in the sand.

[Your puppy blue eyes take me to oblivion]

The Postcard

Castaway on this town of sunshine
Devoid of spirit, lacking of song
A postcard on the outside
Just a card on the inside
Like a white-gowned scolded bride.

Shades of orange and dim blue
Frisky nights of lovers lost
Innocence gone towards the horizon
Nothing to expect, nothing to lose
Just the part of a fairy left to abuse.

This town is my paradise hole
Everyone else is on the ground
Two feet below is where I stay
Detached from the sparkle and heat
Deriding their happiness to an industrial beat.
