My home is in the clouds
Where forever I wish to lay
With naughty thoughts of you
and days never grey;
With longings for eyes so blue
and wiry hands that play.
I wish I could stay in the clouds
With your long bones over mine
Where your lashes tickle my neck
and my thoughts are covered in sunshine;
While I count the dots on your back
and you say all will be just fine.
But soon I lose the happiest joy I ever found.
There's a cry I hear distant and loud.
Strings pull me back to the ground
into the abyss of life without a cloud.

-
My soul is
a scream
My letter
unwritten
They’re
hanging off corners
They’re
frozen stone white
They do not
want to harm
Whoever put
them there
Put my heart
on a string
And tied it
to your leg
My body is
here
My tears are
with you
The pain that I caused
Is my cross
to bear
My stone
cold air
Is the
weight on my chest
For all the
times I let you down
For all the
times you cried
For every
time you hated me
And each time
you felt unloved
You never
were
And never will
be
My air is a
prison
Your love
cannot break
So I carry
the chain
With you far
away.

If.
My love, my soul
There will come a time
A day, a minute, an arrow
Which will pierce through this lifetime of mine
Making me happy and cutting me in half
My bones, my veins
All I want for you is joy
The moment to last eternally.
May she love you at least half as much as I do
May she love you at least as much as I do
May she love you at least a 100 times more than I do
May God not make me the only one for you.
And if she was to reject the blood of your blood
My blood I will transfer, my life I will lend you
It's on a plate for you to take
It's on my sleeve for you to grab
It's like all those times I said I loved you.
It's set in stone, it's what cells are made of.
It's like the twinkle in your eye and the tear in mine.
It's never fading, it's tied across the sky.
So if love defies you
You know which heart to turn to
My soul, my love
If there ever comes a time.
